Sancho set to travel for pre-season with Dortmund as he awaits £108m move to Man United

Borussia Dortmund are expecting Jadon Sancho to travel with their squad to Switzerland for their pre-season training camp, according to the German press.

The reports from Kicker and Ruhr Nachrichten claim Manchester United have not contacted the German club regarding the £108million star.

Sancho is back on home soil as he was spotted on Saturday night at a party hosted by famous rap duo Krept and Konan in the UK.

The Dortmund forward is waiting to complete a mega £108m move to United in the coming weeks, in what would be a record deal for an English player.

And United fans on social media were excited overnight at seeing the 20-year-old enjoy a house party in the UK, particularly given Dortmund have a series of friendlies coming up ahead of the 2020-21 Bundesliga season.

Dortmund finished their 2019-20 Bundesliga season on June 27, and Sancho has since been back in training in Germany alongside new arrival Jude Bellingham, who signed from Birmingham City.

The Bundesliga runners-up have their first pre-season friendly on Wednesday in Austria against SC Rheindorf Altach, but Sancho and the rest of the Dortmund squad were given the weekend off and are expected to return on Monday.

‘It’s common and fine for players to go home before a training camp if they’re not risky,’ Sascha Fligge, Dortmund’s director of media and communication, said in a statement on Sunday.

‘The same goes for Jadon [Sancho].

‘From our point of view, the pictures that have been shown to us so far do not violate.’
