Ronaldo Praises Inter For Strong Results Against Barcelona

Following Inter’s Champions League matches against Barcelona, Ronaldo Nazário shared his thoughts on the club’s current form.

In the hunt for the second Round of 16 berth in Group C, the Nerazzurri required solid results against the Blaugrana, and they managed to pull off a win at home and a draw away, giving Simone Inzaghi and his players confidence after a rough start to the season.

Prior to their first match against Barcelona, Inter had dropped four of their first eight league contests, but things have now started to turn around.

Inter currently sit 7th in the Serie A table, eight points behind league leaders Napoli and four points behind 4th place Roma.

Meanwhile, Inzaghi will be hoping to pick up as many points as possible in the run-up to the World Cup break next month.

What Did Ronaldo Say?

At the Ballon d’Or celebration, Ronaldo discussed Inter’s recent form improvements and a potential Scudetto campaign with Sportmediaset.

“I follow Italian football, I see a lot of football. Being the owner of two teams, I am sick of football!

“I saw both Inter matches against Barcelona, they did very well, two giant games against a great team. Scudetto? It’s a long way off.”
