N’Golo Kanté Not Considering Real Madrid Transfer

Chelsea Midfielder N’Golo Kanté is reportedly not considering signing for Real Madrid during the next summer transfer window.

The 31-year-old has had a spectacular time at Stamford Bridge, making a total of 262 matches in all competitions and winning the Premier League and Champions League.

However, the France international’s contract expires in little over eight months, and it is more doubtful that the Blues would grant the World Cup champion new terms.

Kanté has not played for Chelsea since August 14 due to a hamstring injury.

The Premier League champions confirmed on Tuesday evening that Kanté had undergone surgery on the injury, leaving him out until at least February.

If all goes as planned, he will have three months to show his fitness to the powers-that-be at Stamford Bridge if he wants to stay.

Should an offer not be made, he will still have his selection of great European clubs, but it looks that arguably the biggest team of them is not on his list of possible destinations.

N’Golo Kante Not Considering Real Madrid Transfer?

According to El Nacional, Kante has no desire to join 2022 Champions League champions Real Madrid on a free transfer.

As per report, Los Blancos are closely watching the situation and are willing to sign the player before the 2023-24 season.

However, it is believed that Kante would want to join a club where he would be considered a sure starter, which may not be achievable at the Bernabeu.

Aurelien Tchouameni was recruited from Monaco earlier this year, while Eduardo Camavinga is likely to become a regular in the first XI in the following seasons.

Furthermore, the La Liga giants have been connected with Borussia Dortmund star Jude Bellingham, a deal that may take precedence over signing Kante when he becomes 32 in March.

According to the report, there is presently no viable frontrunner for Kanté as a result of the uncertainty surrounding his fitness.
