Mbappe Dismisses Witchcraft Allegations Made By Pogba’s Brother

Kylian Mbappe has downplayed recent public charges of witchcraft towards him involving France national teammate Paul Pogba.

Mathias Pogba, Pogba’s brother, had previously stated that he will release “explosive” information regarding his sibling and other players.

Mbappe got involved in the argument following claims that Pogba hired a witch doctor to curse the PSG forward.

Meanwhile, Pogba informed the authorities that he has been the target of an extortion attempt.

The strange story involving two of France’s most well-known athletes has the potential to overshadow Les Bleus’ efforts to defend their World Cup title.

Although, Pogba is currently sidelined with injury and it isn’t yet clear if he will be fit for the tournament. France play their first game against Australia on November 22.

What Did Mbappe Say On The Issue?

At a press conference held ahead of Paris Saint-Champions Germain’s League match against Juventus in the Champions League, the France striker was asked about the issue.

“Today I prefer to believe the word of my team-mate. It is his word against the word of his brother, I am going to believe my team-mate,” Mbappe told reporters.

“It’s not a time to put more onto him. I’m pretty detached from it all.”
