According to Football Insider, Manchester United’s chances of signing Bayern Munich forward Harry Kane have improved significantly.
Since moving to the Allianz Arena from Tottenham Hotspur in 2023, the 32-year-old has demonstrated his goal-scoring ability, contributing more than 100 goals in the last two seasons. He has also won the Bundesliga title and the German Super Cup.
This season, the Englishman has continued to deliver impressive performances, scoring 48 goals and providing five assists in 40 games across all competitions.

The forward has been directing his team’s title chase once again. Furthermore, he has helped his team reach the quarterfinals and semi-finals of the Champions League and DFB Pokal this season.
However, with the player’s current contract scheduled to expire at the conclusion of next season, talk about his future has begun ahead of the forthcoming summer window.
According to Football Insider, Manchester United has long been interested in the former Tottenham Hotspur star and may make a move to sign him this summer or next year.
Bayern Munich has already begun talks with Kane’s representation to extend his contract, although the negotiations have not yet progressed. Uli Hoeness, the Bavarian club’s president, has even intimated that Kane could go.
Kane to Manchester United
As a result, United’s chances of closing the deal are greatly improved. However, Manchester United will have heavy competition to sign him, as several other Premier League clubs are also in the running. Tottenham are interested in bringing him back, but the player may be hesitant to return to the Lilywhites given their recent troubles.
Manchester United presently have Benjamin Sesko and Joshua Zirkzee as specialist possibilities for the centre forward position. However, the Dutchman has been on the perimeter this season. So he’s been linked with a move away.
Kane is one of the best forwards in the world and would be a huge coup for Manchester United if they signed him. However, it would be interesting to see if the Old Trafford club makes a solid attempt to sign him in the summer.
