Man United To Hand Harry Kane, Rashford £300k-a-week Deals

Man United are reportedly ready to hand Harry Kane a £300,000-a-week contract, while also preparing to offer Marcus Rashford the same terms.

The England captain is thought to be the club’s top summer transfer target, amid reports that he is unlikely to sign a new contract at Tottenham Hotspur.

The 29-year-old has been in excellent form for Spurs this season, scoring 26 goals and contributing four assists in 43 games across all competitions.

However, the North London club have an uphill battle to qualify for next season’s Champions League, as Kane’s current contract expires in the summer of 2024.

According to The Sun, Man United are determined to land Tottenham and England’s all-time record goalscorer this summer and are willing to pay him £300,000 per week, a substantial raise from his current £200,000-a-week income at Tottenham.

As per the report, David de Gea is ready to reduce his weekly salary from £375,000 to £200,000, allowing Man United to save substantially on their wage expenses.

Meanwhile, Phil Jones and Axel Tuanzebe are likely to leave on free transfers this summer, and Eric Bailly, Alex Telles, and Brandon Williams could possibly leave.

Kane has 24 Premier League goals this season, but Tottenham are presently sixth in the table, six points behind fourth-placed Manchester United.

Man United are also drafting a £300,000-a-week contract for Rashford, who is only under contract at Old Trafford until the summer of 2024.

The 25-year-old has been in fantastic form for the Red Devils this season, scoring 28 goals and contributing 10 assists in 49 games.

Rashford and Kane could therefore play alongside each other in Man United’s attack next season, with Antony also expected to play a key role for Ten Hag’s side in 2023-24.
