Man United Identify Anderson Transfer Alternative

Manchester United have reportedly considered Lens midfielder, Mamadou Sangare as a potential alternative for Elliot Anderson.

Nottingham Forest’s Anderson has emerged as Manchester City’s target for a fee worth over £120 million.

For the England international, City have made a verbal offer of £106 million, plus an additional £15 million in possible add-ons. This fee will surpass the £105 million Arsenal spent on Declan Rice in 2023.

Anderson is one of the top midfield targets for both City and United this summer. But the 23-year-old seems to favour joining City, and they are currently attempting to reach an agreement with Forest.

United Eye Sangare

It implies that Sangare is one possible option; according to Foot Mercato as reported by Manchester Evening News, United are impressed with his current development and growth potential, and an offer is being readied.

The French club are reportedly demanding far more than the projected £34 million for him. It’s also improbable that United will be the only team interested this summer.

The 23-year-old, who arrived for just €8 million (£6.9 million), has drawn attention following an impressive debut season in Ligue 1.
