Man United Contact Former Premier League Boss To Replace Ten Hag

Manchester United have reportedly contacted ex-Chelsea boss, Thomas Tuchel about becoming the manager at the club.

According to Caught Offside, Sir Jim Ratcliffe has asked about Tuchel’s commitment for the upcoming season and evaluated his desire to lead the Red Devils. Even though the 50-year-old is currently focused on Bayern Munich,

Tuchel is set to leave Bayern after his team failed to defend the Bundesliga title, allowing Bayer Leverkusen to win their first championship.

The German is leaving Die Rekordmeister at the end of the current season and might find work in England, where his reputation is still quite strong.

Tuchel’s reputation as an elite manager remains unharmed despite Bayern’s struggles.

The ex-Mainz 05 manager led Chelsea to their second Champions League title after taking over in the middle of the 2020–21 campaign.

He also led the Blues to the FA Cup final in his first season in England, which Leicester City won.

The following season, the former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain manager advanced to the finals of both domestic cups and won both the Club World Cup and the UEFA Super Cup.

Tuchel is a seasoned manager and one of the best in Europe.

It appears that Ratcliffe is a fan of his, and his strategy is perfect for cup competitions.

However, the report claims that Ratcliffe hasn’t made up his mind about Erik ten Hag yet.

After a tumultuous second season with the Red Devils, the Dutch manager has given himself another chance to win a trophy with an FA Cup final matchup against Manchester City.
