Liverpool have been urged to focus on building their present group before looking for a straight successor for Mohamed Salah, and that removing Arne Slot will not solve this season’s problems.
Salah will end his magnificent Anfield career next month after agreeing to depart on a free transfer after nine years with the club.
The Reds have been connected with a number of newcomers to boost their right-wing options, with speculation of RB Leipzig’s 19-year-old Ivory Coast international Yan Diomande gaining traction in recent days.

Former Chelsea winger Florent Malouda, who was close to joining Liverpool in 2007, has downplayed the necessity for the Reds to replace Salah in the upcoming transfer window, Reported by Liverpool news.
“Will Michael Olise replace Mohamed Salah? “He’s happy at Bayern,” he remarked. “I believe they too have ability to grow. They have Hugo Ekitike and Alexander Isak; they can work out a solution within.
“They should work with the players they already have before bringing in new ones because it may generate further problems. You bring good players, but when they arrive, they don’t perform.
“I think that’s the question Liverpool need to address before bringing top talent.”
However, Malouda believes that Ekitike’s catastrophic Achilles injury may drive Liverpool to sign another centre striker in the summer.
“Hugo Ekitike’s injury is unfortunate, but that’s the life of top players,” stated the former France international. “You compete in highly tough sports, and there’s always the possibility of damage.
“The most essential thing is that he get appropriate therapy and considers long-term solutions to his condition. He needs to fully recuperate from his major injuries.
“All we want is for him to heal well. There are several choices for the French squad.
