Chelsea will play a friendly against Juventus this summer as part of the Hong Kong Football Festival 2026. The Blues will put the final touches on pre-season preparations when they meet the Italian giants on Wednesday, August 5, at the Kai Tak Stadium.
Before departing for Hong Kong, Chelsea will compete in the Sydney Super Cup, which will be held in Australia’s Accor Stadium in July and August. On Tuesday, July 28, the West Londoners will face Western Sydney Wanderers before facing Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday, August 1.
Then, a few days later, Chelsea will arrive in Hong Kong to face Juventus. The Blues have characterized the encounter as ‘an essential stage in the team preparations’ ahead of the new Premier League season, which begins two weeks later.

Chelsea has not played in Hong Kong since 2011, when they defeated local side Kitchee and Aston Villa in the Premier League Asia Cup tournament. In an official release, the club confirmed that general ticket sales will begin on Thursday, May 14.
It reads: “Official hospitality experiences will be available with Club Chelsea, including matchday hospitality and multi-day passes that provide unparalleled access to the Blues.” Packages will be available for pre-sale on Thursday, May 7, at a time to be determined.,
“General admission match tickets for Chelsea’s encounter against Juventus in Hong Kong will go on sale on Wednesday, May 13, at a time to be determined. Supporters who qualify for the pre-sale will be informed via email.
The club also stated that ‘more pre-season games and places’ will be revealed in the ‘coming weeks and months’. Meanwhile, Liam Rosenior has been charged with helping Chelsea qualify for the UEFA Champions League.
