Klopp’s Hidden Weapon Against Real Madrid: Liverpool’Ferraris In The Garage’

Following Liverpool’s 2-1 victory over Southampton on Tuesday night, Jurgen Klopp has lavished praise on his fringe players.

Liverpool earned a come-from-behind triumph to push the Premier League title chase to the last day of the season, with Klopp making nine changes from the team that started the FA Cup final on Saturday.

Jurgen Klopp, in comments published by Marca following Liverpool’s victory over Southampton, revealed the key to his team’s success with his trademark flair.

Klopp remarked afterwards, “Actually, I am very thrilled about the performance because it was a bit touching to be honest.”

“These boys are incredible. It’s like having Ferraris in the garage and then letting them out to drive around like this.

“I’m not sure when Harvey [Elliott] last played; Curtis [Jones], no rhythm; [Takumi] Minamino, it’s a crime he doesn’t play more often.”

“It’s extremely difficult for the boys, but everything that happens this year is due to this bunch.” It’s outstanding, and they demonstrated it once more tonight.”

Liverpool Injury List As The Champions League Final Approaches
