Klopp Lauds ‘Absolutely Insane’ Next Generation Of Liverpool Talent In Carabao Cup Victory

Liverpool manager, Jurgen Klopp is confident that the club is in capable hands because of their ‘absolutely insane’ next generation. Although he acknowledges that his success at Liverpool is one-of-a-kind.

In the Carabao Cup final on Sunday at Wembley, an injury-ravaged team defeated Chelsea 1-0 thanks to a dramatic goal by Virgil van Dijk in the 118th minute.

Furthermore, the manager thinks that the club’s lifeblood—more than 32,000 fans who traveled south—remains the Anfield support.

“I couldn’t care less about my legacy,” said Klopp as reported by Liverpool Echo. “I’m not here to create one. As a manager of a football club I am there to do the job.

“Nothing we’ve done in the last eight or nine years is replaceable, we couldn’t have done the same at another club.

“It was exactly made for this combination. It is fantastic. We learned so much in that time, the people learned so much.
