Jackson Reacts To Chelsea Sacking Of Pochettino

Nicolas Jackson seems to be speaking out against Mauricio Pochettino’s departure after Chelsea decided to fire their manager on Tuesday.

The Blues ended the season with five straight victories, so they didn’t waste any time in going back to the drawing board in preparation for the summer.

In two meetings on Monday and Tuesday, Pochettino discussed his plans with the club executives, and both sides agreed that it would be best if he left.

Chelsea, owned by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capital, are currently searching for their fourth permanent head coach.

Despite repeated calls for the 52-year-old’s dismissal during his first season at Stamford Bridge, Pochettino turned things around in the new year.

Leading Chelsea to European football with one game remaining and putting up play only surpassed by the eventual top four.

Nevertheless, Pochettino’s job was terminated due to the insurmountable fundamental differences between the club and coach. It will be a devastating blow for a lot of the players who have grown under him.

Now, the progression will be cut short by his departure. And it appears that this has left Jackson in particular confused.

According to Football London, the striker posted two face-palm emojis over a photo of himself and Pochettino on Instagram to express his thoughts.

Also, the 22-year-old wrote: “Love you coach. Wish we could stay together more [face palm emoji] But may God continue to bless you and your family.

“Thanks for the advice and support you’re a true lion and fighter wish you all the best [red heart emoji].”
