Roberto De Zerbi is reportedly set to bring AC Milan legend, Alessandro Nesta as his assistant manager to Tottenham Hotspur.
According to Tuttosport as reported by Goal, De Zerbi is attempting to get Nesta to work as his assistant on Tottenham’s coaching staff in London.
After starting his coaching career with Miami FC in the United States following retirement from football, the former Milan and Lazio defender managed Reggiana, Frosinone, and Perugia in Serie B. He hasn’t had a job since last season, which ended with Monza’s relegation to Serie B.
De Zerbi has made the decision to decline any more offers this season after leaving Marseille. However, Tottenham are succeeding in persuading him to return to the Premier League following his two-year stint as Brighton’s manager.

The London club are searching for their fourth manager in the past year and third manager of the current campaign.
In fact, even though the team won the Europa League, Ange Postecoglou was replaced by Thomas Frank, who was then replaced by Igor Tudor. As a result, the team is currently in fourth position in the standings, just one point above the relegation zone.
In addition to a signing bonus and a bonus if the team avoids relegation, Tottenham are offering De Zerbi a five-year contract worth £12 million per season.
