Chelsea Player Speaks Out On Real Madrid’s Move After Enzo Fernandez Bombshell

Moises Caicedo has no plans to leave Chelsea this summer, shutting out a potential move to Real Madrid.

The Blues have had a rocky few weeks, with them dropping out of the Champions League and losing ground in the race for a top-five finish in the Premier League. Following four consecutive defeats, Liam Rosenior is under increasing pressure.

Other concerns have exacerbated Chelsea’s woes, with Reece James suffering another injury.

In other news, Enzo Fernandez has raised serious questions about his future at the club in comments with Argentine media since his team’s European exit following defeat to Paris Saint-Germain, failing to rule out a long-rumored move to Real Madrid.

His midfield teammate Caicedo was also questioned about a move to the Spanish city during his national team’s training camp, but the former Brighton player responded in a way that would please Chelsea fans.

When asked about a prospective move to Real, the Ecuador international replied: ‘I have a contract with Chelsea and hope to become a legend there, God willing. My goal is to stay there and finish in the best way possible.

Caicedo’s comments have been celebrated by Chelsea fans online after he firmly shut down transfer speculation – unlike Fernandez.

When asked if he could guarantee he would be a Chelsea player next season following the 3-0 loss at home to PSG last week, Fernandez told ESPN Argentina: ‘I don’t know, I don’t know.

‘There are eight games left, including the FA Cup. There’s the World Cup, then we’ll see.

In a separate interview with the same site a few days later, Fernandez claimed that he was already in talks with Real, but kept the door open for a possible move.
