Borussia Dortmund ‘Set £132m Asking Price’ For Jude Bellingham

Borussia Dortmund are reportedly asking €150m (£132m) for in-demand midfielder Jude Bellingham ahead of the summer transfer window.

The 19-year-old is expected to be one of the most sought-after midfielders moving into the 2023-24 season, with a slew of big European clubs vying for his services.

Liverpool, Manchester City, Manchester United, and Chelsea have all been linked, as have Spanish giants Real Madrid and French champs Paris Saint-Germain.

After joining Dortmund for around £25m from boyhood club Birmingham City in the summer of 2020, Bellingham has developed into a great player and a leader.

The England international has 20 goals and 24 assists in 119 appearances for BVB in all competitions, including 10 goals and six assists in 29 games this season.

Bellingham’s meteoric rise on the international stage has obviously piqued the interest of a number of prominent European teams, and the midfielder is allegedly set to inform Dortmund of his wish to depart at the end of the season.

According to The Athletic, Dortmund has “consistently maintained” that they will only consider offers of €150m (£132m) for Bellingham.

According to the report, the German club is under no pressure to sell the Englishman, who is under contract until June 2025, but they are ‘unlikely’ to stand in the way of the player if he chooses to leave.

Dortmund sporting director Sebastian Kehl recently stated that the club is still hoping to keep Bellingham for “as long as possible,” but allowed that it may be “wishful thinking.”

Bellingham is aiming to finish the season with a Bundesliga winner’s medal, as Dortmund are now in a tight competition for the title, tied on points with reigning champions Bayern Munich and surprise package Union Berlin.
