Bernardo Silva Real Madrid’s second summer acquisition, just a few days after they announced the signing of Marc Cucurella.
The Portuguese international has committed to a two-year deal with the team that runs through the summer of 2028.
According to the club release, “Real Madrid CF and Bernardo Silva have reached an agreement whereby he will be a Real Madrid player for the next two seasons, until June 30, 2028.”
When his contract with Manchester City expired at the end of the previous campaign, Bernardo departed.
Several elite teams, including Barcelona, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus, were fighting for the 31-year-old dynamic playmaker’s signature.

Silva’s talents had previously been offered to Real Madrid, but they were not really interested in signing him.
But all changed when Jose Mourinho took over as manager since the Portuguese coach insisted on working with his countryman.
Silva has officially successfully signed a two-year contract with Real Madrid. According to rumors, there may be an option for an extra year, which might be exercised depending on how many appearances he makes.
Ibrahima Konate and Denzel Dumfries are also anticipated to be formally confirmed in the next few days, joining Silva and Cucurella as Real Madrid’s most recent additions.
The Portuguese international’s versatility, experience, leadership, and winning mindset might make him a valuable short-term addition to Real Madrid.
