Despite that form, Arteta recently preferred Kai Havertz and Gabriel Jesus in Arsenal’s final Premier League fixtures instead recently overall.
Both forwards scored during victories against Burnley and Crystal Palace, although Owen still believes Gyokeres deserves immediate recall for Saturday’s massive European final showdown.
Owen Convinced Gyokeres Can Hurt PSG
Speaking ahead of the final, Owen described Gyokeres as Arsenal’s most dangerous attacking option because of his outstanding recent performances consistently overall.
The former Manchester United striker praised Gyokeres’ goalscoring form, movement, and overall contribution while insisting PSG’s defence could struggle against his physical presence significantly.
Owen explained that Arsenal already possess quality throughout midfield, defence, and goalkeeping, leaving striker depth as their only possible weakness currently overall.
He suggested Arsenal may eventually sign another forward capable of complementing Gyokeres rather than completely replacing the Swedish striker moving forward successfully there eventually.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane expects a balanced Champions League final and described Arsenal against PSG as an evenly matched contest overall recently, reports football 365.
Kane admitted PSG’s status as defending European champions makes them slight favourites, although Arsenal have already proven themselves among Europe’s elite teams this season
