Alvaro Arbeloa’s Indirect Warning To Real Madrid Star Kylian Mbappe – ‘Talent Alone Isn’t Enough’

Kylian Mbappe has sparked outrage in the Spanish capital, which is not surprising, but it appears that Real Madrid is also unhappy with him. The France captain departed Madrid for the third time this season to recover from injury, this time with the squad in a precarious situation.

As Real Madrid prepared to face Espanyol on Sunday night, photographers snapped photographs of Mbappe coming back in Spain on a private plane with fiancée Ester Exposito. Florentino Perez, the president of Real Madrid, was not pleased with this sight. When asked about it following their triumph against Los Pericos, Arbeloa stated that he was free to do anything he wanted in his leisure time.

“Real Madrid’s medical team oversees and manages all injury planning, determining when players need to travel to Valdebebas and when they do not. Beyond that, each player does what they see fit in their spare time, and I can’t interfere,” he told Marca.

Five of Arbeloa’s six queries, whether directly or indirectly, were on Mbappe and commitment, with the other being about Vinicius Junior’s performance. The Brazilian is being compared directly to Mbappe, with fans debating who should be the club’s major star.

“I have no doubts about my guys’ dedication. I believe they all understand how significant these matches are to us. There has never been, isn’t, and will never be a larger club than Real Madrid, and I believe all of my players realize exactly what they represent, where they are, and how fortunate they are to be here.”

“To win any match, you need the commitment of all players.”

One of the disappointments with Mbappe, and Vinicius in particular, has been their forwards’ lack of work ethic, as Arbeloa mentioned at his news conference. He was asked whether Vinicius was more devoted than Mbappe.

“I don’t compare players. We need everyone. To win any match, each participant must be fully committed. It bothers me when we see that all of the other teams run faster than us, not just when we don’t have the ball, but even when we do. “We need everyone’s commitment to press, defend, and attack.”

More broadly, it was suggested to him that Los Blanccos lacked the required communal commitment. Mbappe, who has been photographed wearing a suit on his excursions overseas, must complete the game soaked in perspiration to placate Arbeloa.
