Pep Guardiola will rely on his whole team as Manchester City prepares for six games in less than a month. City advanced to the FA Cup final on Saturday, May 16, defeating Southampton 2-1 at Wembley Stadium. As a result, their away encounter against AFC Bournemouth will have to be rescheduled.
City are also awaiting a new date for their home game with Crystal Palace. This was postponed owing to the Blues’ participation in the Carabao Cup final, and it has not been rescheduled due to Palace’s Conference League campaign. When asked about the impending fixture schedule, Guardiola admitted: “Yeah, it’s terrible.”
“That’s why I need the squad.” That’s why I need them all. We can’t play with the same players every three days. This will not be feasible. We must deal with substitutes, and everyone must make progress, Reported By Manchester Evening News.
“Of course I demand more from some of them, more and more and more, and this is what you have to do.”

Only Rayan Cherki, Matheus Nunes, and Rayan Ait-Nouri started against Burnley and Southampton, and their performances have put City in prime position to win three trophies this season.
Guardiola continued
“When we started the season, I always expected to be at the top and win all of the titles. Now, that is not feasible. After last season’s events, there were concerns about how players might respond to certain situations this season. However, we discovered a solution.
The guys are in a good place right now and are taking things slowly. Before Arsenal and Burnley, I remarked, “Okay guys, there isn’t much to talk about.
“They understand completely that we must win, score as many goals as possible, and see what happens; it is a game, a good recovery, a game, a good preparation, and nothing more.
“As I’ve said many times, the club is defined in the later phases, when you’re competing for trophies. “That’s when you have a good season.
“We’re always there. I am quite proud of that. I enjoy winning titles, but I have never backed down against clubs in League One, League Two, or Championship due to a lack of attendance or poor play.
It happened maybe once or twice, but not very often; the rest of the time, we were always present, which is what characterizes the large clubs.
