Premier League Club Hold Talks For Outrageous Vinicius Jr Transfer This Summer

Vinicius Jr. could join the Premier League this summer, according to recent sources.

The Real Madrid player has been in contract talks with his club for a long time without making a breakthrough.

The contract expires in 2027, but with discussions stalled, Manchester United is reportedly aiming to take advantage of the situation by making a surprising bid for Vinicius Jr.

According to TEAMTalk, Vinicius Jr’s agents have approached United and Manchester City, as well as Arsenal, Chelsea, and Liverpool, about the 25-year-old’s potential summer transfer.

In addition, his intermediaries have also sounded out European giants like Paris Saint-Germain and Bayern Munich who could potentially afford the mammoth move, with Vinicius said to command a hefty salary of £500,000 per week.

While Vinicius is not desperate to leave the 15-time European champions, he is said to be considering all options for his future.

Vinicius Jr’s Real Madrid contract demands were exposed.

Kylian Mbappe is Real’s highest-paid player after signing on a free transfer in 2024, but Vinicius’ team is reportedly expecting a larger pay for his deal.

The Athletic reported in November that Real offered a deal of £17.5 million per year during talks toward the end of last season, raising his annual salary by little under £2 million.

His people were dissatisfied with the plan, and when Real asked them to give a figure, they reportedly sought £26 million.

That amount would be the most costly contract in Real’s history, comparable to what five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo got in his last year before signing with Juventus.

According to the source, Vinicius informed Real that he would not renew his contract while Xabi Alonso was in charge, citing a difficult relationship.

Real dismissed the Spaniard of his duties and replaced him with former teammate Alvaro Arbeloa.
