Antonio Rudiger has ended months of doubt about his fitness with an update that will be a huge help to Real Madrid.
After battling recurrent physical issues in recent months, the German defender has now declared that he is totally recovered and prepared to play at the top level.
In an interview with Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung as reported by Madrid Universal, Rudiger talked about his present state of health and the relief of getting through a trying time.
“I can finally play full matches without any problems,” he began.
Breaking Silence On The Issue
Rudiger shared further details about his experiences, including how physically demanding the past year has been.
He disclosed that at one point, it had been necessary to play through pain.
“I feel really good and I’m relieved that my medical treatments are over. Since August-September 2024, there’s always been something wrong.

“I can finally play full matches without any problems. Especially last season, I could only play and train if I took painkillers.
“Things got worse this year in January, and I knew I had to take a break because the World Cup is coming up in the summer. But now I’m back at 100%.”
When considering the sacrifices he made for the club, his past becomes more apparent.
Rudiger acknowledged that he put the club’s needs ahead of his own after having knee surgery at the end of the previous campaign.
“I put my own health aside and wanted to be 100% for Real Madrid because there’s nothing I hate more than letting my teammates down.
“Would I do it again? Probably. However, after my surgery in 2025, I also gained a better understanding of when things are getting out of hand.”
