According to Football Insider, Manchester United is battling Arsenal over the signing of Everton attacker Iliman Ndiaye.
Although the Red Devils updated their attacking lineup last summer by adding Matheus Cunha, Bryan Mbeumo, and Benjamin Sesko, they are now looking for a new left-winger.
The Brazilian can cover in this position, but he prefers to be in the centre. Patrick Dorgu has shown glimpses of his ability as a left winger this season, but he is a left-back by nature.
According to Football Insider, Manchester United have identified Ndiaye as a genuine target to strengthen the left flank after being impressed by his recent eye-catching displays, and they may make a solid approach during the offseason.

Arsenal is also interested in the Senegalese international, but they are unwilling to make a move to complete the transfer because they do not believe he is consistent enough to play at the highest level.
Transfermarkt values the player at roughly £43 million, and he still has a contract that runs until 2029. However, Everton has no intention of parting ways with him because they want to create a roster to compete in European competitions and do not want to sell vital players. But Ndiaye is eager to perform at the greatest level at some point in his career.
Ndiaye is a natural left-winger with a right foot, but he can also play on the other side. He is technically sound, capable of dribbling past opposing defenders in tight spaces, and works hard even when not in control.
Battle
Ndiaye joined the Toffees from Olympique de Marseille and scored 11 goals in all competitions last season. This season, he has scored eight goals in 24 Premier League matches.
Furthermore, the forward has been instrumental in his team’s fight for a European berth, with only two points separating them from seventh-place Brentford.
After demonstrating his abilities in the English Premier League, Ndiaye has been named to the Senegal national team’s starting lineup.
The 26-year-old is a brilliant player who is in the prime of his career. So, if Manchester United or Arsenal are able to gain his services during the forthcoming summer transfer window, he could be a wise addition.
