Liam Rosenior has promised to “get to the bottom” of Chelsea’s early team news leak.
Hours before kickoff at the Parc des Princes on Wednesday night, the starting lineup for the Blues’ Champions League last-16 first-leg match against Paris Saint-Germain appeared in the French media.
In a highly anticipated rematch of Chelsea’s 3-0 victory in the Club World Cup final last summer in the United States, the visitors levelled the score twice during a thrilling match.
However, a mistake by goalkeeper Filip Jorgensen proved costly and caused a late collapse as holders PSG eventually won 5-2 thanks to a crucial brace from substitute Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

With their chances of making it to the quarterfinals of Europe’s top club championship now in jeopardy, Chelsea have everything to do in the rematch at Stamford Bridge next week.
Rosenior Speaks On Leak Team News
“No, I wasn’t aware,” Rosenior said when asked in his post-match press conference if he knew about the alleged team news leak as reported by the Evening News.
“I’m sure we’ll get to the bottom of that, if that’s the case. These things now, they happen quite a lot.
“We get information about our opposition. I’m more worried about the end result than the beginning of the game.”
Rosenior bemoaned Chelsea’s “crazy” finish in an otherwise competitive match in Paris, but he defended his choice to change his regular first choice.
Jorgensen and No. 1 Robert Sanchez acknowledged that it will be “very, very difficult” but not impossible to overcome a three-goal disadvantage next week.
“A very disappointing result,” he said. “In an evening, where for much of the game, I was really, really happy with our performance.
“The last 15, 20 minutes were crazy in many aspects. That’s on me. I need to be better in moments, setbacks, mistakes happen.”
