According to the source, all three English clubs have scouted the 20-year-old in recent months, and Manzambi has quickly established himself as one of the most promising young midfielders in the German top flight.
Manzambi joined Freiburg from Swiss side Servette as a youth and has since risen to the first team, making 42 games for his current club across all competitions at senior level.
According to reports, Manchester United have identified the Switzerland international as a potential transfer target as they try to restructure their midfield, with the teenager considered as either an alternative to other targets or a way for the Red Devils to add squad depth.
Meanwhile, Arsenal has already started initial negotiations with Freiburg about signing the midfielder, who is considered as a talent with the potential to become an elite midfielder.
