FPL GW29 Recap: Three-Star General Pedro; iSoccer Winners

The Fantasy Premier League (FPL) Gameweek 29 is one to remember as Joao Pedro (£7.6m) scored a hat-trick in Chelsea’s comprehensive 4-1 win away at Aston Villa.

The Brazil international claimed 19 points – his best ever FPL return – as he added an assist to the treble on Wednesday night.

Pedro has now netted eight goals, provided six assists and blanked just once in the last eight matches. He is a three-star general not only because of the hat-trick against the Villans but his incredible exploits in recent matches.

His teammate, Cole Palmer (£10.6m) returned nine points following a goal and two bonus points.

Arsenal defensive duo, Gabriel Magalhaes (£7.2m) and Jurrien Timber (£6.3m) recorded double digit hauls in the Gunners’ 1-0 win against Brighton and Hove Albion after both players were just one and two points shy of it in the win over Chelsea last gameweek.

Timber has now made it three double-figures this campaign after claiming 24 and 11 points in GW2 and 7 respectively.

Manchester City star, Antoine Semenyo (£8.6m) has now surpassed his best-ever points tally in FPL following his seven-point haul in the 2-2 draw with Nottingham Forest taking his total for the season to 172 points, seven more than what he pulled last term.

Everton defender, James Tarkowski (£5.7m) returned 15 points to his owners following a goal, clean sheet, and the maximum bonus points in the Toffees’ 2-0 victory over Burnley.
