Former Chelsea Star ‘Punch’ A Producer During Live Broadcast After Chelsea Defeat To Fulham

Jason Cundy left talkSPORT listeners stunned on Wednesday night after dramatically walking out of the studio to jokingly punch a producer during a live broadcast.

The former Chelsea defender was on The Sports Bar alongside Jamie O’Hara as the pair discussed a busy night of Premier League action.

Cundy, wearing a clown hat and bowtie, was already in a foul mood after watching Chelsea suffer a damaging 2-1 defeat to Fulham at Craven Cottage.

The Blues played much of the match with ten men after Marc Cucurella was sent off midway through the first half, reports Talk Sports.

Fulham made their numerical advantage count, with Raul Jimenez opening the scoring before Harry Wilson struck late to seal victory.

The loss extended Chelsea’s miserable run to just one win in their last nine league matches under newly appointed boss Liam Rosenior.

As the show continued, the hosts reacted to Newcastle’s dramatic 4-3 comeback win over Leeds and Manchester United’s 2-2 draw with Burnley.

Tensions rose when a United-supporting caller asked whether both hosts were “alright,” prompting an irritated response from Cundy.

“Now you’ve asked, no!” he snapped, before jokingly asking if he could leave the studio to punch producer Alex Irons, a Fulham fan.

Moments later, Cundy stood up and walked out, with a separate video later showing him playfully swinging punches at Irons off-camera.

Despite the chaos, the producer continued running the show without interruption as O’Hara carried on the discussion.

The incident quickly went viral on social media, with listeners amused by the clearly tongue-in-cheek nature of the outburst.

talkSPORT later confirmed the exchange was light-hearted, with The Sports Bar returning as normal ahead of Arsenal’s clash with Liverpool.
