Lamine Yamal Becomes Most Valued Player, Displaces Mbappe And Haaland

Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal has moved clear of Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe to become the most valuable footballer in the world, according to a new report from the CIES Football Observatory.

As relayed by Mundo Deportivo, the teenage sensation has been handed a staggering €343 million market valuation, a figure that not only tops the global rankings but also redefines the scale of player valuation in modern football.

What makes Yamal’s rise even more remarkable is the gap between him and his closest rivals.

Among players under the age of 20, the Barcelona winger stands completely alone, with his valuation nearly tripling that of others in his age group.

In the overall standings, Yamal sits well ahead of two of Europe’s most prolific forwards.

Erling Haaland is valued at €255 million, while Kylian Mbappe comes in at €201 million, underlining how highly the young Spaniard’s profile, versatility, and long-term potential are rated.

Barcelona’s influence is strongly felt across the list. Pedri ranks tenth overall with a valuation of €130 million, while teenage defender Pau Cubarsi is currently the most valuable defender in world football at €110 million.

There has also been a shift at the very top since last year. Jude Bellingham, who led the rankings in January, now sits fourth at €153 million, followed by Michael Olise (€137m) and Florian Wirtz (€136m).

Outside Europe’s top five leagues, Vitor Roque leads the way with a valuation of €85 million, ahead of Samu Aghehowa and Geovany Quenda, who has already agreed a move to Chelsea, reports Barca Universal.
