Didi Hamann has warned Liverpool signings Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz their long-term futures at Anfield remain uncertain.
The former Reds midfielder believes Liverpool could consider selling both players next summer if performances fail to justify massive investments.
Liverpool shattered the British transfer record twice last summer, signing Wirtz from Bayer Leverkusen and Isak from Newcastle United.

Despite heavy spending, Arne Slot’s side have struggled for consistency, leaving questions surrounding the impact of their marquee signings.
Isak has endured fitness problems and scored just one Premier League goal, while Wirtz is still adapting after injury setbacks.
Liverpool could reassess big-money signings
Hamann insists Liverpool are financially stable and would not be forced into sales, even without Champions League qualification.
However, he warned underperforming stars may still be reviewed if Liverpool miss Europe’s elite competition next season.
Isak’s situation appears more pressing, with Hamann suggesting Barcelona could emerge as potential suitors during the summer window.
The Sweden striker’s game time may also depend on Ekitike’s development, potentially limiting Isak’s opportunities centrally at Liverpool, reports Liverpool Echo.
Wirtz, meanwhile, has yet to register a Premier League goal contribution, despite showing gradual improvement since returning from injury.
Liverpool currently sit seventh in the league, enjoying a five-match unbeaten run across competitions entering the festive period.
Hamann previously suggested Wirtz may already be questioning his Anfield move following a difficult start and emotional challenges.
