Ruben Amorim Plays Mind Games As Harry Maguire Opens Up About His Management

Manchester United are determined to extend their Premier League standings climb when they play Bournemouth on Monday. Ruben Amorim’s men won their last match against Wolves.

After a disappointing previous campaign, Amorim began his first full season in charge at Old Trafford in a lackluster manner. However, any worries have been dispelled, and his squad is now near the top of the standings.

United might move into the top six with a win on Monday, but Andoni Iraola’s Cherries, who are currently 14th, will not be taken lightly. Amorim may be without some crucial players for the match, and Harry Maguire will undoubtedly miss out.

England defender suffered a hamstring injury in November’s 2-2 draw with Tottenham and is still out. However, he has taken some time to bestow praise on a previous United manager. Mirror Football gives you the most recent news from Old Trafford.

Harry Maguire makes manager claims.

Maguire has struggled for game time under Amorim this season, starting only four top-flight games. According to discovery+, he felt that one of his former coaches, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, was underrated during his tenure as United manager.

“Ole was brilliant, I think Ole was so underappreciated,” Maguire stated in response. “He never received recognition for what he was doing. It seemed like it was still at Manchester United. If he had done it at another club, he would have received recognition.

“It felt like everyone was waiting for an opportunity to push him down, yet he never let it happen. He was an excellent manager. He had excellent people behind him, including Kieran [McKenna] and [Michael] Carrick, a superb man-manager who knew how to look after his squad and his players.

“It felt like he never received proper recognition, which was a tragedy. Ultimately, we didn’t perform enough in the third season, and the team’s balance was not what it had been the previous two years, but I can’t say enough good things about Ole.”
