Kylian Mbappe is still a significant doubt for Real Madrid’s next La Liga match against Alaves, according to a recent report from SPORT, which has Real Madrid feeling increasingly anxious going into the weekend.
For Xabi Alonso, who is coping with an unprecedented injury problem across nearly every line of his squad, what should have been a fairly straightforward match suddenly threatens to become a challenging test.
Real Madrid is physically exhausted, as evidenced by the list of absentees.
Alvaro Carreras, Fran Garcia, and Endrick are all suspended, and their absence from the team has already been established.
Due to injuries to Dani Carvajal, Eder Militao, Ferland Mendy, and Trent Alexander-Arnold, the defensive sector has been severely damaged, and these forced withdrawals are just the beginning.

Four more players—Mbappe, Eduardo Camavinga, David Alaba, and Dean Huijsen—remain sidelined due to ailments of varied degrees, which exacerbates the issue.
What about Mbappe?
Mbappe’s predicament is without a doubt the most concerning of that group.
The French superstar is still dealing with knee pain, which prevented him from playing against Manchester City.
His availability for Alaves is becoming less and less likely due to that absence.
Today, Mbappe’s condition will be reevaluated by Madrid’s medical experts through more testing. Although the striker is apparently keen to resume playing, the squad will not take any chance.
No risk with Mbappe
Real Madrid would rather be cautious than make an early comeback that would worsen his suffering because they have a long season ahead of them and a number of important games coming up.
Mbappe would only be able to return to the team in time if he experienced an abrupt and substantial improvement that was backed by the medical department.
If not, Alonso might have to be ready for another game without his star attacker at a time when Real Madrid can’t afford any more losses.
