Barcelona Eyeing Cesc Fabregas As Hansi Flick Replacement

Barcelona  apparently considering Cesc Fabregas as a potential replacement for Hansi Flick, with some fans dissatisfied with the German’s management.

According to Fichajes, Hansi Flick’s future at Barcelona has sparked debate, as the club may consider replacing the German with a new manager in the future. Cesc Fabregas’ name is getting traction within the Catalan club, with the Como manager viewed as an ideal candidate for the La Liga giants.

Hansi Flick had a fantastic debut season as manager of Barcelona after taking over from Xavi Hernandez in the summer of 2024. He helped the club win La Liga and go to the Champions League semifinals, but the main reason for his success was the eye-catching offensive game he implemented with the players on board.

He brought out the best in his attacking players, including Lamine Yamal, Robert Lewandowski, and most notably Raphinha. While Barcelona is currently leading La Liga and still has a chance of qualifying for the Champions League, the German manager should have no fears.

However, certain sources in Spain imply Flick may have faced some criticism for his inability to stabilize the team and its performances this season. Barcelona has shown fragile in recent performances, as evidenced by their midweek loss to Chelsea away from home.

As a result, his status has come under investigation, despite the fact that he is currently not in risk of losing his job. Barcelona are already considering potential alternatives for the future, with Cesc Fabregas gathering traction.

Will Cesc Fabregas replace Hansi Flick at Barcelona?

Cesc Fabregas, who formerly managed Monaco, has built a reputation for himself as the manager of Como. The Spaniard is a former Barcelona academy and senior player who has also played for Arsenal and Chelsea. The Spaniard, who was largely regarded as a creative genius as a player, is now establishing his merits as a manager in the same way.

Given his background with Barcelona, the La Liga giants will naturally consider him for future leadership roles. Como, for their part, is not about to explore the possibility of leaving midseason.
