Real Madrid Players Unhappy With Xabi Alonso And Five Who Are Happy

The 2-2 draw against Elche on Sunday night has plunged Real Madrid into full-fledged crisis mode, as they have now gone three games without a win in any tournament.

Reports of discord in the dressing room have surfaced, with several members of the squad believed to be dissatisfied with manager Xabi Alonso and his methods.

So much so that the Spanish tactician’s future at the Santiago Bernabeu has already been put into question.

Six players are unhappy

Providing a fuller picture of the situation, COPE journalist Arancha Rodriguez claims that six Real Madrid players are dissatisfied with Alonso’s methods.

The six players in issue are Vinicius Jr., Federico Valverde, Rodrygo Goes, Brahim Diaz, Endrick, and Ferland Mendy.

Things haven’t been going well between Vinicius and Alonso for a long time, and the tension appeared to boil over during the Clasico last month when the Brazilian lashed out at the manager over his replacement. Reported By Madrid universal.

Vinicius purposefully left Alonso’s name out of his public apology speech and is apparently unwilling to commit to a renewal while the former player remains at the club.

In terms of Valverde, the Uruguayan international has failed to find his footing in Alonso’s system and has even been forced to play right-back, which he has been unwilling to do owing to injuries.

Rodrygo, however, has struggled for minutes, despite Alonso’s attempts to deploy him in his favorite position on the left wing. Brahim, on the other hand, has struggled to find enough minutes despite making a solid impact whenever given the opportunity.

Endrick and Mendy, meanwhile, are the two outfield players who have played the fewest minutes this season.

Five satisfied with Alonso

At the same time, the research identifies five players who are satisfied with Alonso’s performance and plan to continue with him.

Dean Huijsen and Alvaro Carreras are new Real Madrid additions who have quickly established themselves as significant players.

Arda Guler, who has gained in stature under Alonso’s leadership, is also pleased with the manager, as are superstars Thibaut Courtois and Kylian Mbappe.

It remains to be seen how things evolve in the coming weeks and whether Alonso is able to turn things around or ends up getting axed.
