Real Madrid Plotting Shock Free Move For Barcelona Academy Sensation

According to a new rumor from Defensa Central, Real Madrid is considering a surprise move for Barcelona’s 18-year-old youth squad prodigy, Juan Hernandez, whose current contract with the Catalan club extends until 2026.

The disclosure has generated quite a commotion, since one of Barcelona’s most promising young midfielders is being watched by their main opponents.

According to the report, Juni Calafat, Real Madrid’s head scout, is a big fan of Juan’s potential.

While the club has not made a formal approach, Calafat is thought to be actively monitoring the player’s development.

The issue could take an interesting turn in January, when Real Madrid may try to initiate talks if Barcelona fails to ensure the youngster’s long-term future by then.

What makes the adolescent appealing is his adaptability. Despite his native position as a central midfielder, he can also play efficiently on the wing, providing tactical versatility.

Real Madrid planning ahead

This season, the 18-year-old has been a regular starter for Barcelona B, scoring one goal and providing one assist.

It should be mentioned that Real Madrid is already aiming to strengthen their midfield for next season, a move that was first mooted while Xabi Alonso’s transfer was being confirmed.

At the moment, Florentino Perez and his team decided that the present roster was adequate.

The probable signing of Juan now appears to be part of a longer-term strategy, with the goal of developing him at Castilla and providing a clear path to the first team in the future.

Despite Madrid’s rising interest, competition could come from Paris Saint-Germain, who are also apparently keeping a close eye on the player.

This might complicate the operation for Los Blancos, especially if the French giants decide to move quickly.
