Liverpool legend Jamie Carragher has publicly supported West Ham fans after they boycotted Monday night’s 2-0 defeat to Brentford in protest against the club’s ownership.
Large sections of the London Stadium were empty as supporters voiced their frustration with how the club is being run, calling for the resignations of vice-chair Karren Brady and co-owner David Sullivan.

West Ham have endured a nightmare start to the Premier League season, sitting 19th in the table after eight matches with just one win under new boss Nuno Espirito Santo.
The Hammers’ latest defeat only deepened tensions, with fan group Hammers United leading the “No More BS” campaign to demand change at the top.
Carragher Calls for Modern Leadership
Speaking on Sky Sports, Carragher didn’t hold back in his criticism. “It’s been shocking for a while,” he said.
“Supporters rarely get it wrong — they know what’s going on inside their club, and West Ham’s problems go far beyond the manager.”
Carragher compared West Ham unfavourably to smaller yet better-run clubs like Brentford and Brighton, calling their ownership model “outdated” and “not modern.”
He added that the club’s decline is painful to watch, especially after their European triumph under David Moyes just two years ago, reports London World.
Meanwhile, pundit Gary O’Neil warned Nuno faces a “seismic task” to turn things around as West Ham prepare to visit Leeds United in their next Premier League clash.
