Kylian Mbappé has heaped praise on his France teammate and Bayern Munich star Michael Olise, describing him as a “top-class attacker” ahead of their World Cup qualifier against Azerbaijan.
Olise, 23, has made a seamless transition to life in Germany since joining Bayern, becoming one of the Bundesliga’s standout performers this season.
His impressive form has also carried over to the French national team, where he continues to shine under Didier Deschamps, reports Bavarian Football.
Mbappé, speaking to reporters this week, couldn’t hide his admiration for the talented winger.
“He not only helps me but the entire team,” said the Real Madrid forward. “He has a special profile that we don’t have — he can score, keep the ball, and control games.”
Mbappé Delighted by Olise’s Impact
The French captain added that Olise’s evolution has been key for both club and country. “He already showed his qualities at Crystal Palace,” Mbappé noted.

“Now, he’s proving himself against the biggest teams in Europe. Bayern has really unlocked something special with him.”
Mbappé also revealed that Olise’s growing confidence and improved French have helped him settle into the squad quickly.
“He plays more on the right at Bayern, but here he has freedom to drift centrally. He always looks forward — it’s a pleasure to play with him.”
With praise like that from one of football’s biggest stars, Olise’s rise to elite status looks unstoppable.
