Despite still displaying his striker skills at the beginning of this season, Robert Lewandowski, the FC Barcelona star, is already 37 years old, and there are undoubtedly only a few more seasons left for him to play at his best.
As a result, the Blaugrana club is still being linked to other alluring center-forward alternatives on the market. Samu Aghehowa of FC Porto is one such name that has been connected to them recently.
According to a recent report from the Spanish publication Fichajes, Barcelona is already planning a bold play for the Spanish striker and is hoping to pay €60 million to the Portuguese team to acquire him.
However, Porto’s willingness to part with Aghehowa for a substantially lower amount than his current release clause, which stands at €100 million, is one of the Catalan team’s concerns. Furthermore, Barcelona may find this move more difficult if other elite teams express interest.
