Manchester United will try to build on their 2-1 win over Chelsea last weekend, hoping to ignite a comeback in their season. Ruben Amorim’s players will have had a week off after being knocked out of the Carabao Cup and missing out on European action this season before facing Brentford on Saturday.
The Premier League clash at the Gtech Community Stadium follows a thrilling triumph at Old Trafford, thanks to goals from Bruno Fernandes and Casemiro. United took advantage of having an additional player after Blues goalkeeper Robert Sanchez was issued an early red card, with Casemiro himself being sent out just before halftime.

Securing another three points this weekend would provide a much-needed boost for Red Devils manager Amorim, who is facing continuing speculation regarding his resignation.
However, German magazine Bild reports that Kane might be available for a reduced sum of £56.7 million next year if he notifies Bayern of his intention to leave before the January transfer window ends. Such a request would be unusual given Kane’s successful assimilation in Bavaria, where he has won his first titles and scored eight goals this season.
Kane, who would be 33 when he returns to the Premier League after the 2026 World Cup, has the potential to threaten Alan Shearer’s record as England’s all-time highest goal scorer.
Despite Ruben Amorim’s overhaul of his attacking lineup with Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo, and Matheus Cunha, Manchester United, who have previously expressed interest in Kane, may be eager to sign the former Spurs star. However, they may face competition from Tottenham due to their first-choice deal, which permitted Kane’s departure to Germany in 2023.
