Pogba endured injuries, a terminated Juventus contract and an 18-month doping ban before signing a two-year deal with the Ligue 1 side.

The Frenchman insists he is determined to revive his career and believes Minamino’s habits could help him rediscover his best form.

“Takumi is first to arrive at training and the last to leave,” Pogba told Sportiva, praising his teammate’s commitment and attitude.

Pogba admitted he has “never seen a player so disciplined” yet still full of joy and creativity on the football pitch.

The Japanese international has registered 21 goals and 17 assists in 105 appearances for Monaco since leaving Liverpool in 2022.

Minamino also won the Premier League, FA Cup and League Cup during his time at Anfield, despite limited opportunities under Jurgen Klopp.

Pogba, meanwhile, has not played competitively since September 2023, when he featured briefly for Juventus against Empoli before suspension.

The 31-year-old hopes learning from Minamino’s approach will aid his mission to return to elite level and silence his critics at Monaco, reports Mirror.
