Thierry Henry has reportedly claimed that he becomes “annoyed” when people begin to compare Erling Haaland with Alexander Isak.
Isak, 25, made a spectacular deadline-day transfer to Anfield for an incredible £125 million after a fierce transfer war with Newcastle United.
Football experts and fans alike are curious about how he will perform at his new home ground given the substantial British record price tag linked to his name.
But when asked how the versatile striker compares to more conventional goal-getters, Arsenal great Henry has said he gets really worked up.

Micah Richards stated in an interview on CBS Sports Golazo that he believes Isak is presently the best striker in the Premier League, aside from Manchester City phenom Haaland, before delving into what makes him unique.
According to the Daily Star, Henry was then put on the position by Jamie Carragher, who asked him to choose between the two.
However, after pausing to consider his answer, the Frenchman stated unequivocally that he had no interest in matching up ‘two very different football players’.
He responded: “They’re different players. There’s one guy who can play on the left and the right, and then you have a goal-machine who lives in the box.
“In my day, in a 4-4-2 would have been brilliant to have them both, they’re different players. I get annoyed when people compare an in-and-out striker with a guy who moves around.
