Salah Transfer Concern For Liverpool Resurfaces

Liverpool have begun the 2025–26 season in an exciting manner, winning four games in a row with a combination of tenacity and flair under Arne Slot.

Because of their incredible early-season performances against Bournemouth, Newcastle United, Arsenal, and Burnley—all of which were won by thrilling late winners—the English champions are once again atop the Premier League table.

According to The Mirror, Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has acknowledged that the Reds are missing the contributions of departing players Luis Diaz and Darwin Nunez, echoing sentiments already spoken by Mohamed Salah about the challenges of integrating new players.

The Brazilian shot-stopper said: “All the players who left were important.

“Lucho [Luis Diaz], Darwin [Nunez], they all made a difference for us with goals or their playing, fighting, defending. They had good energy, and we miss them.”

Salah Admits New Players Need Time To Adapt

Salah, who scored a penalty kick in the 95th minute to give the team a narrow 1-0 victory over the Clarets, emphasized after the game that it took time for new players to get in with the existing squad.

The Egyptian forward brought attention to the difficulties in adjusting, particularly in terms of developing understanding on the pitch.

He said: “The players are adapting to our system. We had a few new players in the starting line-up. It takes time to adapt their game to our game.”

This admission mirrors broader concerns about attacking chemistry, as Salah has previously acknowledged having trouble connecting with new players like Hugo Ekitike.

Perhaps though Ekitike has scored twice in his early appearances and shown potential, Liverpool’s key players’ constant cries for patience indicate that total harmony may take weeks or perhaps months due to a demanding schedule of games.
