Man United Stance On Amorim Future

Man United Stance On Amorim Future

After yet another terrible weekend for Manchester United, Ruben Amorim could be forgiven for staring nervously at the chopping block.

Rivals Manchester City defeated United 3-0, and although they produced enough chances, they lacked the clincality necessary to punish Pep Guardiola’s side.

Amorim will want to make an immediate shift given that United are struggling in 14th place after four games, as the disastrous fallout is a well-known tale at Old Trafford.

After ten months on the job, Gary Neville warned that Amorim will be “in trouble” if the club stay in that region of the table in October.

However, according to the Manchester Evening News as cited by the Daily Mail, Amorim still has the backing of the club’s management.

It is ‘amazing’ that he is not in danger, a source close to the Portuguese told the publication, despite the fact that he has only taken 31 points from 31 Premier League games in charge, including 16 losses.

Man United Likely To Relegate Than Make Top Four

According to Opta’s supercomputer, United are already more likely to be relegated than to make it back to the Champions League.

According to the predictive model, United have a 10.95 percent chance of relegating and a 4.18 percent chance of making it to the top table in Europe.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the minority stakeholder of United, appeared exhausted in the stands on Sunday, rubbing his face in spite of the MEN’s claim on Amorim’s job security.

Although Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha have made significant starts, Benjamin Sesko, the new striker, has struggled after United approved a £236 million summer spending spree.

The Slovenian only managed one shot and 20 touches at the Etihad, none of which were in the opposition box. The £73.7 million player is yet to score his first goal.
