Barcelona begin the 2017 Spanish season with two victories and one tie, scoring seven goals against Mallorca, Levante, and Rayo Vallecano.
18 years old Yamal, scored two of them and assisted on two more, contributing directly to three of Spain’s nine goals during the September international match week.
It’s been a productive first month for the player, club, and country. Yamal is aiming for trophies across the board.
European champions. Spain hopes to host another World Cup in North America next summer, while Barcelona hopes to retain the league crown at home and improve on last season’s Champions League performance in Europe.

Yamal, too, wants some unique attention and isn’t hesitant to admit it.
Speaking on an upcoming episode of the Resonancia de Corazon podcast with Spanish writer Jose Ramon de la Morena, the adolescent sensation expressed his audacious wish for solo success.
“I don’t dream of winning one Ballon d’Or, but I dream of winning many of them,” Yamal told the audience.
“I feel I am a player capable of accomplishing that, and if I fail, it will be because I did not do things correctly, not because I did not want to.
“So, I dream of having many of them, and when the day comes that I get there, I will be very happy, but I will keep winning more and winning with my team and everything.”
There’s no reason to doubt that Yamal has at least one Ballon d’Or in his future. He would become the seventh Barcelona player to receive the trophy.
