Chelsea Star Warned After Brutal £70M Transfer Snub

Frank Leboeuf has warned Chelsea forward, Nicolas Jackson that if he makes 39 appearances while on loan at Bayern Munich, he will not be allowed to play any more games.

According to reports, Bayern spent £14 million to sign Jackson on loan, with the option to buy him for a further £56 million if he played 40 games.

Uli Hoeness, the president of Bayern, asserts that the German champions actually paid £12 million for the loan agreement and that a £70 million move won’t be permanent.

In light of Hoeness’ remarks, former Chelsea defender Leboeuf is certain that Bayern intend to stop using Jackson if he plays 39 games and will either bench him or remove him from the team completely.

“He knows that 40 games is going to be hard to be made,” football pundit Leboeuf said about Jackson’s situation on ESPN FC.

“At the end of the day, you still have some hopes that at some point you will have a chance – and if you are good – you know that maybe the coin will flip and it’s going to be better.

“But now you already know that if you reach 39 games you’re not going to play any more.”

What Did Hoeness Say About Jackson’s Loan Move To Bayern?

Bayern chief Hoeness said: “The player and his agent contributed €3m, so we paid €13.5m [for Jackson’s] loan fee.

“There will definitely not be a permanent contract. That only happens if he plays 40 games from the start, it will never happen.”

After the Blues acquired Joao Pedro during the summer transfer window and called up Marc Guiu from his season-long loan at Sunderland to replace the injured Liam Delap, the 24-year-old was free to depart Chelsea.

Jackson, who was Chelsea’s primary striker the previous season, has so far contributed 30 goals and 12 assists in 81 games for the west Londoners.
