Real Madrid goalkeeper, Thibaut Courtois reportedly claimed that Manchester United’s new signing, Senne Lammens is a “huge talent”.
Lammens completed an £18 million move from Royal Antwerp to Old Trafford on deadline day, becoming the Red Devils’ last acquisition of the transfer window.
The 23-year-old was chosen by United over Argentina and Aston Villa star Emi Martinez in order to strengthen their goalkeeping unit.
Despite that choice, according to The Mirror, Courtois, a huge Lammens supporter, has already expressed his opinions to Rio Ferdinand about the transfer.

Speaking on YouTube, the United legend said: “He let me know about Lammens because he’s a Belgian player, and he was just giving me the heads up as to what he’s like.
“He said he’s a huge talent, obviously not experienced yet but he thinks his style will be well-suited to the Premier League as well. So that’s a recommendation from probably one of the best three goalkeepers in the world, Thibaut Courtois, so I’ll take that.”
He added: “I keep seeing people talk about the talent and whatnot, but the problem is, can Man United afford to wait for talent to develop at this point in time? That’s the question.”
Lammens is only 23 years old, yet he has already made 63 appearances for Royal Antwerp and advanced through the Belgian youth system though, yet to make his senior debut.
