Arsenal To Sign Rodrygo On One Condition In Ambitious Move

Arsenal are reportedly willing to bring in Real Madrid forward, Rodrygo Goes this summer if he is available for loan.

The forward has found it difficult to fit into Xabi Alonso’s plans, thus the La Liga giants are open to his departure.

Despite making just one appearance during the Club World Cup campaign, Rodrygo does not appear to be a high pick for new boss Alonso, who also has the option of Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Jr., and Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid will consider bids even if they haven’t actively looked for a new team for him.

The former Santos star is reportedly working with a number of intermediaries to look into other options, despite the official position that Rodrygo would stay at the Bernabeu.

Although no official talks have started, he has been linked to Arsenal, Liverpool, and Tottenham.

Arsenal Are Also In The Running For Eze

After Mikel Arteta’s team signed Noni Madueke this summer, a deal with the Gunners seemed improbable, as Eberechi Eze seemed to emerge as a top target.

Arsenal might be searching for a player who is more frequently utilized in a wider position, so a deal for Crystal Palace’s winger would not be as plausible as it previously was.

According to the Times as reported by Daily Express, the North London outfit are still keeping an eye on Rodrygo’s condition. They will only think about moving forward, though, provided a loan arrangement is granted.

Despite Rodrygo’s difficulties securing consistent first-team play, Madrid manager Alonso hinted last month that a decision on the forward’s future was still pending.

“The fact that he didn’t play again was a decision based on the game,” he explained during the Club World Cup. “The way things were going, we needed a different player.

Throughout this championship, there haven’t been any decisions about the future; we haven’t rotated much.”
