Luke Shaw has stated that there are “no stragglers” left in the Manchester United team as a result of Ruben Amorim’s harsh approach.
Amorim’s first summer in command of United has seen the Portuguese manager sideline five first-team players, with Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Tyrell Malacia all granted time to consider moving on.
Rashford has joined Barcelona on loan, while Juventus has expressed interest in Sancho, and Garnacho has been offered to Premier League rivals Chelsea and Aston Villa.

Amorim has continued to restructure United’s roster by signing Brentford forward Bryan Mbeumo and Wolves attacker Matheus Cunha, and Shaw believes everyone is now “driving in the same direction”.
“He’s quite tough on the group. He investigates thoroughly, and I believe there are no more stragglers in this group. I believe that everyone needs to prioritize the team. “He made that very clear,” Shaw stated during United’s preseason tour. According To Independent News.
“I believe he is choosing guys based on what he believes would be best for the squad, and that is his decision. As players, we wholeheartedly support him and his plans for the squad. We feel like a real team, especially throughout the preseason.
“Since I’ve been back, the group is so together and I think that’s something that we need to keep to make us more of a family and everyone all together and we’re all driving in the same direction.”
Amorim took over United in November, but the club ended 15th in the Premier League and lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.
