Manchester United have offered Alejandro Garnacho to Aston Villa in a swap deal to secure the signing of striker Ollie Watkins.

The Red Devils are eager to land Watkins, valued at £60million, but hope including Garnacho will reduce the overall fee.
Watkins is one of three main striker targets for United, alongside Chelsea’s Nicolas Jackson and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko this summer.
United are also in talks with Chelsea, offering Garnacho in exchange for Jackson, despite the striker’s £80million price tag.
They hope player-plus-cash deals will help bypass inflated fees and speed up negotiations before the transfer window closes in August.
Garnacho has drawn interest from both clubs, with United reportedly willing to part ways with the young Argentine winger this summer.
Watkins, 29, scored 16 Premier League goals and made eight assists last season, earning high praise across the league.
Former United defender Rio Ferdinand supports the move, calling Watkins a complete striker who could make an immediate impact at Old Trafford.
Benjamin Sesko remains a target but could cost up to £78million, and Newcastle are also pushing hard to sign him, reports Metro.
With a new striker a clear priority, United are working fast to finalise a deal that suits both budget and ambition.
