Liverpool are eyeing Lyon winger Malick Fofana as a possible summer signing, according to journalist Fabrizio Romano’s latest update.

The 20-year-old Belgian has emerged as a strong option, especially with Luis Diaz being linked to Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Fofana, signed by Lyon from Gent in January 2024, has quickly become one of Europe’s most exciting young wingers this season.
He has scored 15 goals and registered seven assists in 62 appearances across all competitions for Lyon since his arrival.
In the Europa League, Fofana stood out with eight goal contributions in 10 games, impressing scouts and top clubs alike.
He even assisted in Lyon’s quarter-final clash against Manchester United, further boosting his profile on the European stage.
Romano reports that both Bayern and Liverpool admire Fofana, who is known for his pace, dribbling, and direct attacking style.
Lyon are open to selling the winger, needing funds, and have set a price tag of around €60m (£52m) for him, reports Give Me Sports.
