Real Madrid ‘Offer’ £35 Million And Two Players Guardiola ‘Appreciates’ For Manchester City Star

According to rumors, Real Madrid has launched an astonishing deal for Manchester City midfielder Rodri, offering two players  €40 million (£35 million).

The Citizens missed Rodri greatly last season after the Spain international suffered an ACL injury at the end of September, ruling him out for the remainder of the season.

Man City struggled to be the dominant team that everyone had grown accustomed to over the previous four seasons, when they won four Premier League titles in a row.

Pep Guardiola’s squad finished third in the Premier League, 13 points behind champions Liverpool, and the season ended without a major prize.

Tijjani Reijnders, Rayan Ait Nouri, Rayan Cherki, Sverre Nypan, and Marcus Bettinelli were all new additions at the Etihad Stadium this summer, but Guardiola is now aiming to reduce the squad size after threatening to depart if the Man City management handed him a bloated team.

Rodri is one player Guardiola will not be looking to replace, with the Spaniard serving as a foundation for Man City’s success this season.

However, Spanish publication Fichajes believes that Real Madrid ‘goes wild’ with ‘an offer’ of Eduardo Camavinga, Rodrygo, and €40 million to persuade Manchester City to trade Rodri this summer.

Rodri is “the only name that truly convinces both the president and Xabi Alonso, who has insisted on bringing in a player who can dictate the pace of the game from midfield.”

Real Madrid is “willing to sacrifice key players in order to complete a deal,” but they are aware at Valdebebas that it will be difficult to persuade Manchester City, who have no intention of parting with one of their pillars.
